Calm command needs a trustworthy foundation.
Latensy is a monitoring product, so it is held to the standard it asks of your services. Here is how your data is hosted, isolated, and protected.
Hosted in Germany (EU)
Latensy’s infrastructure, including the database and the servers that run your checks, is located in Germany. Monitoring data stays in the EU.
Encrypted in transit
The app, the API, public status pages, and badges are served over HTTPS only. Checks against your services use TLS where the target supports it, and the TLS version is recorded with each result.
Tenant isolation at the database level
Every table that holds customer data is protected by row-level security policies, enforced inside the database rather than only in application code. Team access is granted explicitly per workspace with owner, admin, member, and viewer roles.
Payments by Stripe
Card details are entered on Stripe-hosted pages and never touch Latensy. Subscriptions are managed through the Stripe customer portal.
Minimal credential handling
Database monitors check TCP reachability of the host and port only; credentials in a connection string are never read or used. Authenticated REST checks store only what is needed to perform the request you configured.
Backups and recovery
The database is backed up nightly, with a copy kept off the production server.
Public endpoints are rate-limited
Public status pages, status badges, and the public JSON API are unauthenticated by design and rate-limited per client to protect availability.
Retention you control
Check history is kept for your plan’s retention period: 30, 90, or 180 days, or longer on Enterprise. Delete a monitor and its history goes with it. Request account deletion at any time.
